How Does Stress Affect Your Social Behavior
If you have remained stressful for a long time then it is not just you who is getting affected by it, it is also the people around you and to some extent your social circle as well. Stress is nothing but a disturbed state of mind. While some people experience it at a mild level, for some it is severe. For some people stress is transitory, for others it is protracted. Since it is a mental condition, it is bound to affect your inter-personal behaviour and in turn your social behaviour as well. When you are stressed for a long time, you will notice that you have been forsaken by your social circle.
Stress overwhelms your decision-making ability and hence prevents you from getting the desired results. When you are stressed, you cannot think straight. When you are not able to think in the right direction you become incapable of making the right decisions. This eventually leads to frustration and social withdrawal. While you may care little about society, you still have people around you whom you love and care for.
Stress also makes you abrasive. The biggest problem with the people who are under stress is that they start believing that their problem is unique and gravest. Eventually they start considering themselves as the victim. They become totally inconsiderate towards the needs and desires of the others. Because of this behaviour, people who are not really close to them start avoiding them. What one must remember during these troubled times is that a lot of people in the world face such problems and there is always a solution.
